The brand Sailor Strap stands for a small manufactory in Warsaw, which produces a handmade strap made of leather and rope in a traditional way for several years, a symbiosis between sailing and photography. Only the best materials are processed by hand, whereby the idea of sustainability also has a formative influence on the camera strap made of leather and braided rope. An example is the vegetable tanned leather, originally made from a blend of Italian premium handbags. The high-quality carrying strap rope itself, on the other hand, is made of so-called polyester silk, a yarn consisting of very fine polyester threads, which is elaborately braided into a rope. The rope made of polyester silk can compete with its natural model in terms of suppleness and noble shine, and in terms of function it can even hold its own. Although it offers a similarly high level of wearing comfort as silk, it is also tear-resistant, quick-drying, lightfast and retains its shape. Finally, each camera strap made of leather and braided rope is firmly attached to the Italian leather with robust saddle yarn and equipped with hardened, corrosion-resistant split rings, making each camera strap made of leather and braided rope absolutely unique.

The Sailor Strap "Lieutenant" is a leather and rope strap with a rope thickness of 10mm and the availability of two different camera strap lengths, in this case the longer Sailor Strap Lieutenant version with 120cm length.
