The brand Sailor Strap stands for a small manufactory in Warsaw, which has been producing a handmade camera shoulder strap made of braided cord in a traditional way for several years, a symbiosis between sailing and photography. Only the best materials are processed by hand, whereby the idea of sustainability also has a formative influence on the Camera strap made of braided rope. An example is the vegetable tanned leather, originally made from a blend of Italian premium handbags. The high quality camera shoulder strap rope itself, on the other hand, is made of so-called polyester silk, a yarn consisting of very fine polyester threads, which is elaborately braided into a rope. The rope made of polyester silk can certainly compete with its natural model in terms of suppleness and noble shine, and in terms of function it can even hold its own. Although it offers a similarly high level of wearing comfort as silk, it is also tear-resistant, quick-drying, lightfast and retains its shape. Finally, the robust saddle yarn is firmly attached to the Italian leather with hardened, corrosion-resistant split rings, making each camera shoulder strap made of braided cord absolutely unique.

The Camera strap model "Lieutenant" from Sailor Strap, is characterized by a rope thickness of 10mm and the availability of two different camera shoulder strap lengths, in this case the shorter Sailor Strap Lieutenant version with 95cm length.
