The small design workshop J.B. Camera Designs in Oklahoma, USA, handcrafts this camera grip base protector from sustainable raw materials with great attention to detail according to individual templates.
The wish of the manufacturer owner and passionate photographer J.B. Moore to have a hand grip base plate with an ergonomic holding function for his then Fujifilm X100, as well as his love for the raw material wood and its artistic processing, culminated in 2011 in the founding of his manufactory for handcrafted photo accessories, which has since become a secret tip for enthusiastic professional and amateur photographers.
The camera grip base protector, handcrafted from solid Peruvian walnut wood, is not only extremely stable and lightweight but has also been individually hand-fitted to the proportions of the respective camera model. Its surface finish is achieved with a special oil, which is also used for the handles of high-quality knives.
