Rock n Roll Camera Straps and Bags is more than just a small workshop: founder Evris Papanikolas, a Greek director and photographer with over 35 years of experience with DSLR and Leica systems, wanted to create a shutter release button that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The Soft Release Button in black, made of solid brass, follows this idea – crafted with precision, clear in design, and durable in use.
The shutter release button screws into the cable release thread of the camera shutter and enlarges the small contact surface of the standard button. This noticeably improves the tactile feel: triggering becomes smoother, more controlled, and without disturbing pressure peaks. With its design inspired by classic clothing buttons, the Soft Release Button remains unobtrusive but visibly enhances the camera – a functional detail with its own character.
