Due to the special laying and braiding technique used on this Barton 1972 leather camera strap, only the upper side of the top grain leather is visible over the entire length of the camera strap, which is unique for this type of camera strap. For the camera strap end loops, which hold the splint rings specially reinforced for this camera strap and serve as a direct connection to the camera, it was deliberately chosen not to use real leather, but much more resistant synthetic leather.
