The RIVIERA PERFORATED HALF MOONS – BLACK by Rock n Roll Camera Straps and Bags represents the combination of classic craftsmanship, finest materials, and timeless elegance. Made from Italian full-grain calf leather – one of the highest quality types of leather in the leathercraft trade – this camera strap becomes more beautiful with every use. The leather is hand-waxed and oiled to achieve a natural depth and a subtle shine that develops into an individual patina over time.
The Riviera series draws on the shapes and materials of legendary camera straps from the 1950s and 1960s. The half-moon perforation along the edges is the characteristic feature of this model. Each hole is precisely hand-punched, giving the strap a distinctive, handcrafted-authentic look – inspired by Italian leather accessories of that era.
With a length of 125 cm, this camera carrying strap is ideal for crossbody wear. The soft leather lies comfortably over the shoulder and chest without cutting in or slipping. The inside is slightly roughened, providing additional grip and comfort. Each strap is hand-stitched in Cyprus, sewn with waxed saddler’s thread, and equipped with hardened 16 mm steel rings. Two leather protectors reliably protect the camera lugs from contact with metal parts.
