CECILIA is at the head of a family-run leather, tanning and trading company that is now in its 5th generation and can look back on more than 100 years of experience. Designed together with honorable photographers, designed in New York and made from the finest materials worldwide, each camera strap is a high-quality one-off.
Only the best surface-treated "full grain" leather from Argentine cattle was used for the shoulder pad of the camera strap. "Full grain" or full-grain leather is high-quality smooth leather made from the upper layers of cowhide and is much denser and more tear-resistant than the layers below. It allows the animal's natural grain or skin irregularities to be seen in their full naturalness and is also more supple than normal embossed leather. In addition, the straps of the shoulder strap for attaching to the camera are made of an extremely tear-resistant nylon fabric "Made in the USA", which has been tested for a pull weight of over half a ton. A hardened and corrosion-protected steel ring with a leather covering is used as a direct connection to your camera.
