The small Cypriot leather manufacturer Rock n Roll Camera Straps and Bags, led by the Greek director and professional photographer Evris Papanikolas, specializes in unique camera shoulder straps for Leica SL2, SL, and S of the highest quality, handmade by professional leatherworkers and belt makers with great attention to detail.
The leather elements of this black leather camera strap, made from the finest Italian full grain leather, are connected into a chain in a process lasting over an hour and hand-stitched with durable, waxed saddler’s thread. This creates a very durable, yet extremely flexible and comfortable camera shoulder strap for Leica SL2, SL, and S. However, the construction of the black leather camera strap is not only design-driven; it also offers a very useful side effect. The individual leather elements absorb sudden shocks or weight loads, similar to a shock absorber, making even heavier camera and lens combinations more comfortable to carry.
Note: This camera strap was specifically made for the wider flat lugs of the Leica SL2, SL, and S to prevent the strap connection from slipping back and forth. Please keep this in mind if you want to attach the leather camera strap to another camera.
