With 35 years of professional experience with DSLR and Leica systems and the desire to create a black design camera strap that still harmonizes with a high-quality Leica premium camera, he founded his exclusive leather workshop, specializing in unique leather camera straps of the highest quality, handcrafted by professional leatherworkers and belt makers with great attention to detail.
The SLIM camera strap model is the slim sibling of the popular Rock N Roll M camera strap series, visually perfectly suited to today's system and compact cameras. Individual elements made from the finest Italian leather are connected into a "chain" in this slim and lightweight design camera strap version through a process lasting over an hour, hand-stitched with durable and waxed saddler's thread, and fitted with two rust-free split rings. This creates a very durable yet extremely flexible and comfortable leather camera strap. But the strap's construction is not only design-driven; it offers a practical side effect. The individual leather elements ensure that the Rock n Roll design camera strap in black absorbs sudden shocks or weight loads, similar to a shock absorber.
