With 35 years of professional experience with DSLR and Leica systems and the desire to find a camera strap that complements a high-quality Leica premium camera, he founded his small but exquisite leather workshop, specializing in unique leather straps for cameras of the highest quality, handcrafted by professional saddlers and belt makers in Cyprus with great attention to detail.
The small Rock n Roll camera strap, sibling to the larger Rock n Roll, is about 5mm narrower, visually perfect for slim system and compact cameras. 45 individual elements made from the finest Greek and Italian full grain leather are connected into a "chain" in this shorter camera strap version through a process lasting over an hour, hand-stitched with durable and waxed saddler’s thread, and fitted with two rustproof split rings. This creates a very durable yet extremely flexible and comfortable leather camera strap. However, the strap’s construction is not only design-driven; it also offers a practical side effect. The individual leather elements absorb sudden shocks or weight loads, similar to a "shock absorber," making even heavier camera and lens combinations more comfortable to carry.
