The brand Sailor Strap represents a small workshop in Warsaw that has been traditionally handcrafting shoulder straps for cameras from rope and Italian premium leather for several years, a symbiosis between sailing and photography. Only the finest materials are processed by hand, with the idea of sustainability also having a significant influence on the camera carrying straps made of rope. An example of this is the vegetable-tanned leather, originally made from the offcuts of Italian premium handbags. The high-quality camera shoulder strap rope itself consists of so-called polyester silk, a yarn made from very fine polyester threads that is intricately braided into a rope. The polyester silk rope can easily compete with its natural counterpart in terms of suppleness and elegant shine, and even surpass it in terms of function.
