The brand Sailor Strap represents a small workshop in Warsaw, which for several years has been traditionally producing camera shoulder straps made of polyester silk and leather, a symbiosis between sailing and photography. The rope itself, on the other hand, consists of so-called polyester silk, a yarn made from very fine polyester threads, which is intricately braided into a rope. The polyester silk rope can certainly compete with its natural counterpart in terms of suppleness and elegant shine, and even surpass it in terms of function. Although it offers a similarly high wearing comfort as silk, it is additionally tear-resistant, quick-drying, lightfast, and shape-retaining. Finally, firmly connected with the Italian leather by robust saddler’s thread, each camera shoulder strap made of polyester silk and leather is an absolute unique piece.
