THE HENDRIX SL CIGAR BROWN STRAP - 100cm
Rock n Roll Camera Straps and Bags was founded by the Greek photographer and director Evris Papanikolas. Inspired by his passion for Leica cameras and the tradition of leather craftsmanship, exceptional camera straps are created in Cyprus that combine design and function. The Hendrix SL leather camera strap in Vintage Brown is an example of this philosophy: handcrafted, full of character, and tailored to the needs of modern photographers.
Made from high-quality, waxed full-grain leather in a warm Vintage Brown – also called Cigar Brown – the strap offers a distinctive surface with a lively patina. 52 individually cut leather pieces in an angular design language are hand-assembled into a flexible chain in over an hour of craftsmanship and sewn with robust saddler’s thread. This construction ensures stability and creates the typical “shock absorber” effect, which noticeably cushions the weight of even heavy camera-lens combinations.
As the SL version, this strap is specially designed for the flat lugs of the Leica SL and S series. With a length of 100 cm, it is ideal for classic shoulder carrying or around the neck.
