The Sailor Strap brand stands for a small manufactory in Warsaw, which has been producing a handmade camera strap made of rope and Italian premium leather in a traditional way for several years, a symbiosis between sailing and photography. Only the best materials are processed by hand, with the idea of ​​sustainability also having a formative influence on the shoulder strap made of leather and rope. An example would be the vegetable-tanned leather, originally made from the blend of Italian premium handbags. The high-quality camera strap rope itself, on the other hand, consists of so-called polyester silk, a yarn made of very fine polyester threads, which is elaborately braided into a rope. The rope made of polyester silk can definitely compete with its natural model in terms of suppleness and noble shine, and it can even hold a candle to it in terms of function. Because although it is as comfortable to wear as silk, it is also tear-resistant, quick-drying, lightfast and dimensionally stable. Finally, firmly connected to the Italian leather with robust saddle thread and provided with hardened, corrosion-resistant splint rings, each shoulder strap made of leather and rope is absolutely unique.

The camera strap rope model "Lieutenant" by Sailor Strap is characterized by a rope thickness of 10mm and the availability of two different rope camera strap lengths, in this case the longer Sailor Strap Lieutenant version with a length of 120cm.
