This rope-like Barton 1972 camera strap is artfully hand-interlocked from 6 individual strands of Top Grain leather in a manufacturing process that takes up to 3 hours and braided around an invisible nylon core. Due to the special laying and braiding technique used with this leather camera strap, only the upper side of the top grain leather is visible over the entire length of the camera strap, which is unique for this type of camera strap. For the camera strap end loops, which hold the splint rings specially reinforced for this camera strap and serve as a direct connection to the camera, we deliberately chose not real leather, but much more resistant synthetic leather.
