With 35 years of professional experience with DSLR and Leica systems and the desire to design a retro leather camera shoulder strap that complements a high-end Leica premium camera, he founded his exclusive leather workshop, specializing in unique camera straps for Leica of the highest quality, handcrafted by professional leatherworkers and belt makers in Cyprus with great attention to detail.
The retro leather camera shoulder strap RIVIERA features a vintage look and is reminiscent of the camera straps for Leica often seen in older Italian films. It is made from hand-cut and sewn Italian pull-up leather with an antique wax finish and was also hand-stitched with a perforation seam inspired by the leather racing gloves of the 1950s and 60s, while the side facing inward toward the body was additionally roughened. A special leather finishing process makes this camera strap model particularly soft and supple to the touch. Due to its elegant appearance, which is based on the retro leather camera shoulder straps of days gone by, this eye-catcher perfectly suits the Leica SL2, SL, and Leica S.
