Over 35 years of professional experience with DSLR and Leica systems and the desire to design a strap for his camera that harmonizes with a high-quality Leica premium camera culminated in the founding of his small but fine leather workshop, specializing in unique leather camera strap designs of the highest quality, handcrafted by professional artisans with great attention to detail.
The Hendrix strap model features a clear, unadorned, and angular design language, visually perfectly suited to modern system and compact cameras. 64 leather elements, hand-cut by artisans from the finest Greek and Italian full grain leather, are connected by hand into a "chain" in this longer camera strap version in a process lasting over an hour, sewn by hand with durable and waxed saddler’s thread, and fitted with two rust-free split rings. This creates a very durable, yet extremely flexible and comfortable strap for your camera. But the leather camera strap construction is not only purely design-driven; it offers a practical side effect. The individual leather elements ensure that the strap cushions sudden shocks or weight loads, similar to a shock absorber, making even heavier camera and lens combinations more comfortable to carry. Two X-shaped central pieces additionally stabilize the leather camera strap.
