For all those, the "The Hendrix" shoulder strap for cameras from the small Cypriot leather manufacturer Rock n Roll Camera Straps and Bags, led by the Greek director and professional photographer Evris Papanikolas, was designed. Over 35 years of professional experience with Leica and DSLR systems and the desire to design a leather camera strap that corresponds with a high-quality Leica premium camera culminated in the founding of his fine leather workshop, specializing in unique shoulder strap designs for cameras of the highest quality, handcrafted by professional leatherworkers and belt makers with great attention to detail.

The Hendrix leather camera strap model features a clear, unadorned design language, visually perfectly suited to modern system and compact cameras. 64 hand-cut elements, made from the finest Greek and Italian full grain leather, are connected into a "chain" in this longer shoulder strap version in a process lasting over an hour, hand-stitched with durable and waxed saddler’s thread, and fitted with two stainless steel split rings. This creates a very durable yet extremely flexible and comfortable leather camera strap. But the shoulder strap construction is not only design-driven; it offers a practical side effect. The individual leather elements absorb sudden shocks or weight loads, similar to a "shock absorber," making even heavier camera and lens combinations more comfortable to carry. Two X-shaped middle pieces additionally stabilize the shoulder strap for cameras.
